Visiting Prairie Crossing

Prairie Crossing is located on the border between Libertyville and Grayslake, less than 40 miles northwest of Chicago. Station Square is an excellent place to start your tour of Prairie Crossing. The shops and offices of Station Square are located on Route 137 across from the Metra Stations.

Planning a visit to Prairie Crossing? The StarGrazer Café at Station Square is the perfect place to start or end your visit. StarGrazer offers a diverse menu that highlights fresh local produce in a welcoming environment right across from the Metra rail station. To Visit By Car

  • From the Tri-State tollway (I-94), take the Buckley Road/Route 137 exit. Head west on Route 137.
  • Travel west on Route 137 past Route 21/Milwaukee Avenue and Libertyville's Sunset Foods at Butterfield Road (about five miles)
  • Turn right into Station Square immediately across from the Prairie Crossing/Libertyville Metra Station, just north of the Route 137 intersection with Casey and Harris Roads.
