The Chamber Singers of the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum are proud to present their Summer 2010 Chicago Tour. This summer’s program, entitled “Music of the Renaissance: Old World and New,” will feature a careful selection of pieces from both Europe and the part of New Spain now known as Mexico. Works will include those of Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla, Tomás Luis de Victoria, Guillaume Dufay, Johannes Ockeghem, and other leading medieval and Renaissance composers.
The Chamber Singers is an eighteen-member, student-conducted group that explores choral works in an intimate musical atmosphere and is devoted to creating an ensemble of the highest caliber.
